Indian Air Force has recently published an official advertisement for announcement of recruitment rallies for candidates willing to join as Airmen in Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) trade and Group ‘Y’ (Non Technical for Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor and Indian Air Force (Police) only) trades at the Shiv Chatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Balewadi, Pune, Maharashtra. Name of the Post: Airmen
-Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade
-Group ‘Y’ (For Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor (GTI) and Indian Air Force (Police) [IAF (P)] only) Trade
Eligibility:
Educational Qualifications: The applicants who wish to participate in this recruitment rally should have a degree in graduation from either of following disciplines –Arts/ Commerce/ Science and Bachelor of Education degree Group ‘X’ trade; Intermediate /any other equivalent examination from any stream or subjects approved by the central or state education boards of India with a minimum of 50% marks obtained in aggregate and 50% marks in English for Group Y Trades.
Age Limit: The maximum ages will be restricted to following – 25 years for graduates; 28 years for post graduates in case of Post 1 and 21 years for Post 2 as on date of enrolment mentioned.
Selection Procedure: The final selection of applicants will be done based on the following: written exam, adaptability test, physical fitness test, interview and medical exam respectively.
