Stop playing politics over our tragedy, says Dadri victim's family as it prepares to move to Chennai

Uttar Pradesh is no longer considered "safe to live" by the family members of Akhlaq, the 50-year-old man who was lynched in Bisahra village of Greater Noida. The family has decided to leave Uttar Pradesh forever as they will soon shift to Chennai.Akhlaq's eldest son Sartaj, a technician with the Indian Air Force, has said that he will take his entire family to Chennai, where he is posted. The family is waiting for the younger son, Danish to recover from injuries. Danish had sustained serious head injuries, when the mob of 200 attacked their house on the night of 28 September.

Danish has been in the ICU for a week where he underwent two major surgeries of the brain. Initially, he was put on ventilator but now he is recuperating in a private hospital in Noida and is said to be in stable condition now.
Sartaj thanked politicians from all parties and the media for showing concern but he added that he does not want any interference in their lives. He has urged everyone to leave his family alone now and stop politicking of this case.Earlier, the head of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, had said the family of a soldier whose father was lynched over the politics of food habits would be moved to an air force station after the "very unfortunate incident"."The safety and welfare of my men, the air warriors, are paramount. This is a very unfortunate incident.
